AMY GILLIAM 

"The Wetland Whisperer"

Executive Director


Amy Gilliam is a committed leader dedicated to protecting natural habitats, conserving biodiversity, and preserving wetlands. She values strong community ties and believes in living in harmony with nature. With a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Amy helped create Coastal GreenSpace Guardians to promote environmental sustainability and recently collaborated on a community center in Pooler , GA focused on fellowship and environmental responsibility.


Amy’s vision includes securing land in trusts for future generations. Professionally, she is a Materials Manager at Gulfstream Aerospace with over 25 years in supply chain management, having also served in leadership roles at JCB North America and Sundstrand Aerospace (now Rockwell Collins). Amy integrates sustainability into her leadership, inspiring teams and communities alike.

JENNY SECK WATKINS


Jenny Watkins is the owner of Ta Tria Marketing and Communications, a sole proprietorship based in Southeast Georgia. Her work focuses on efforts to restore mutual thriving within ecosystems and communities. With over 20 years in marketing, she has led projects ranging from launching an educational initiative that reached tens of thousands of HR professionals worldwide to supporting brand cohesion through global business acquisitions. She has supported startups, scale-ups, nonprofits, and established companies across the Americas and Europe in growing awareness and impact for nature-based solutions. Locally, Jenny has provided ad hoc marketing support to local organizations such as Code of Return and Litefoot Foundation, and she volunteers with Gateway Church and Loop It Up.

AMANDA BROOKS "The Bat Lady"


Amanda Brandmire has a Master of Science in Biology, she is also a gratuate assistant in the Acedemic Success Center.  Her interests lie in workshops, tarining and conferences open to students in all areas of bat and wildlife conservation.  Her desire is to teach middle school Sicence.  She lovers be able to share her knoweldge and passion with others in hopes that they may be bitten by the wildlife bug too~


Her educational focus has been in Mycology, Animal Nutrition, Marine Ecology, Field Biology, Environmental Biology, Genetics, Behavioral Ecology, Biometry, Invasive Species and Aquaculture.


She has done a lot of presentations, projects and volunteering with and about the incredible bat species and is our own "Bat Lady".  If you have in interests in bats, Amanda is your kind of girl.
